This is a non-union positionEnbridge’s Liquid Pipeline’s Infrastructure Planning Western Mainline team is hiring a Senior Engineer who will provide a broad level of technical expertise and will be responsible for the coordination of pipeline and terminal planning and driving the development and implementation of optimization initiatives for small to medium sized projects.

What Will You Do:
Be the expert on product flow through assigned terminal assets and how all assets interact together to optimize system efficiency
Have a broad understanding of all technical aspects of pipeline design and operations to drive safe, optimized solutions out of a multidisciplinary group of partners
Assess the feasibility of commercial requests and develop ideas into solutions for execution (scope screening, triages, etc.)
Coach, mentor, and motivate junior team members and collaborators
Provide recommendations on complex business problems to drive decision-making
Leverage intimate system knowledge and commercial competence to identify and develop business cases for optimization opportunities
Who you are:
University degree in Engineering
Registered member with APEGA as a P.Eng. in the Province of Alberta
Minimum 6 years of progressive experience; preferably in oil & gas or the pipeline industry
A humble team member who displays accountability and self-motivation
Organized and proficient in communication to ensure smooth interactions within and outside the team
Working Conditions:
Office based role.
Based in either Edmonton or Calgary
Up to 5% travel to other Enbridge office and field locations
