Senior Analyst Business Intelligence will be responsible for supporting various initiatives in Energy conservation, Market Development, Business Development, Sales, and Marketing areas with data and analytics. This function involves using SQL, Python or similar programming languages to extract, analyze and present meaningful information to support key business decision making.

What you will do:

• Gather data and information requirements from internal clients, understand their priorities and ensure that their requirements are well understood while generating their deliverable.

• Extract, clean, combine and analyze data from different internal and external data source systems using complex queries, to answer business questions

• Verify accuracy and reliability of data and recommend corrections or adjustments in the collection, assessment, and dissemination of intelligence

• Build visualizations and dashboards using tools like Power BI

• Assists in the maintenance of existing models and tools.

• Develop detailed business and system knowledge within supported areas.

• Own and manage the BI support processes - common mailbox, trackers, workload planning documents etc.

• Own and manage BI routine script runs, standard reports, IT interactions on standard processes

Who you are:

• Undergraduate or advanced degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business etc.

• 2-4 years of experience in one of the following: Business Intelligence, Data analytics, Business Analytics, Marketing, Market research, Customer care

• Very strong SQL, Python, or similar programming language skills. Adept at queries and joining data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems.

• Advanced proficiency in Power BI and Microsoft Excel

• Good communication skills and an awareness of how to communicate data and results effectively.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy

• Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills with a strong client/customer focus

• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced team environment.

Preferred:

• Knowledge of Enbridge applications, systems and databases will be an added advantage.

Working Conditions:

This position typically operates in an office work environment with minimum travel.
