What you will do:

• Provide financial support, analysis and interpretation of financial and operational performance on a timely basis to various operating groups, to support their business and strategic decisions.

• Responsible for monthly reporting to Managers, Directors and Senior Leadership on O&M financial information relating to Budgets, Forecasts, and Actuals with recommended mitigation strategies to attain financial targets.

• Build relationships, particularly with individuals responsible for compilation and assessment of financial data, with a view to understanding and validating the processes used by them in generating their outputs.

• Working collaboratively with key stakeholders lead the development of forecasts and the annual budget and long range forecast for assigned operating groups.

• Provide off-cycle data, reporting, and analysis as requested, ensuring accurate, relevant information is provided for management decision making.

• Ensure financial reporting/tracking is consistent with Regulatory framework.

• Complete month-end closing tasks and journal entries including those in support of assigned operating groups.

• Support key SOX controls and Audit requirements.

Who you are:

• University degree required with a focus on business or related field.

• 2 years or more of post-qualification experience with finance, accounting or financial planning & analysis related.

• Finance related designation (CMA, CA, CPA, CGA, or MBA) or working towards preferred

• Office Environment

• Occasional Travel

Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.
