Enbridge is looking for a Compressor Station Supervisor who would be responsible for a compressor station on our Transmission and Compression system in the Central Region of southwestern Ontario. • Develop and maintain a skilled workforce sufficient in size to meet present and future needs by effectively recruiting, having established succession plans, and by supporting individual career development goals.

• Be accountable for the execution of safe, reliable and efficient work plans with a specific emphasis on safe work practices, equipment reliability, compliance and cost efficiency.

• Provide operational and technical guidance, support, and mentoring to the team relative to company policies and procedures, and practices.

• Provide support, coordination and input into the design, construction and commissioning of capital projects.

• Interact with external parties (e.g., emergency service groups, municipalities and not-for profit organisations) as required; communicate effectively with internal departments (e.g., Engineering, Gas Control, Environmental Health and Safety, and Major Projects etc.) as required.

• Provide emergency standby coverage and effective incident management as required while ensuring the compressor station team is prepared to respond as needed.
  

You have the following education and qualification:

• Post-secondary education in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a relevant field.

• Minimum of 7 years working experience in a mechanical or technical area, coupled with a minimum 3 years supervision experience in a unionised environment.

• Experience managing multiple projects at one time while meeting required milestones.

• Proficient using various computer software programs.

• Class G valid driver’s license.
  

• Duty supervisor (on call) responsibilities every 5-6 weeks.

• A split of 70% in office and 30% in field work.
