What you will do:

• Lead and manage a team of system administrators and security design specialists.
• You will lead the security design, system administrators, break fix teams and contractors, using your Advanced technical knowledge on how access control, camera systems, and IDS systems are installed, wired and function.

• You will develop and collaborate on physical security designs and integrations for a wide variety of facilities across North America, using your extensive knowledge of industry standards, including security, electrical and life safety codes.
• Collaborate with the enterprise security team to develop and update specifications, guidance, and training documents.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to assess and resolve security system issues by diagnosing the issues remotely then developing and executing a remediation plan.
• Actively collects and solicits feedback on design and service issues and updates design and equipment selection to avoid similar pitfalls.
• Proficient with Bluebeam or similar CAD tools that will be used to update and develop as built and typical drawings.

Who you are:

• University degree with min 7 years of experience. For those candidates who do not possess a degree, an additional 3 years of related experience is required.
• 5 years’ experience with physical security systems programming and administration with a security integrator is preferred.
• Leads with Ethics and Integrity.
• An agile growth mindset that can manage multiple people, projects, tasks and communications simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong working knowledge and experience with security equipment and technologies including Genetec and/or Lenel software and programming.
• Organized and efficient at time and task management.
