Rate Classification/Pay Range: 679 - 671, $39.32 - $44.03 per hour

In this role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain any fleet vehicles and equipment within our Storage and Transmission Operations group at both our Dawn and Tecumseh Storage facilities.

Important Note: This role is considered safety sensitive, and as such, you may be required to undergo various background screenings. This may include but is not limited to a driving record abstract, criminal check, a company sponsored medical and drug testing.

What You Will Do (Responsibilities):

• Perform inspections, diagnostics, maintenance and repair on all company heavy work equipment and fleet vehicles.

• Operate mechanical shop equipment and lifting devices including Hiab and overhead cranes.

• Complete accurate work orders and update company records on a computer for all work performed.

• Prioritize workload and complete all tasks while ensuring accuracy, safety and reliability.

• Maintain excellent working relationships with internal and external company contacts.

• Provide system wide support to the Construction and Maintenance teams.

• Perform duties in compliance with company and legislative policies, procedures and safety regulations.

Who You Are (Qualifications):

• Minimum high school education required.

• Experienced mechanic with a valid 310T and/or 310S license.

• Experience with ABS brake systems.

• Must be physically capable of performing the work.

• Must hold a valid G drivers' license with an acceptable driving record.

• Must have or be able to obtain a DZ license.

• Familiarity with or have an ability to update fleet management software.

• Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools, advance test equipment, analyzers, meters, etc.

• Required to provide and maintain your own tools.

• Working knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations and the Operating and Maintenance Manual.

• Strong communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills.

The Following Would Be An Asset:

• Certificate of qualification for natural gas vehicles.
