The Jr. Accountant prepares financial reports for various companies in the group. Ensures that information is gathered, verified and processed in order to respond adequately to management's requests. Reconciles various financial information in order to support management in accomplishing their decision-making process. Participates in the payroll production for various companies of the group.


More specifically:

  1. Manage financial controls on a daily basis (treasury, bank reconciliations, journal entries, balancing accounts payable and receivable with ledgers, etc.);
  2. Assist in the production of accurate and timely, monthly and annual financial statements according to established deadlines;
  3. Assist in the preparation of year-end files for the annual external audit;
  4. Assist in the payroll production for different companies;
  5. Process information for various expense accounts;
  6. Prepare GST & QST returns;
  7. Support various special projects;
  8. Participate in management meetings regarding various accounting files;

Requested skills

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Bilingual oral and written (English and French);
  • Proficiency in accounting systems
  • Computer skills (Windows environment and Microsoft Office suite software);
  • Relevant experience in the preparation of financial information;
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask while meeting tight deadlines
  • Demonstrate autonomy and rigor in the execution of tasks;
  • Have a good team spirit;
  • Knowledge of the automotive industry an asset;
  • CPA title an asset.
