Within our Transportation, Customs Compliance and Logistics group, you are responsible for meeting export and import requirements and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
More specifically, your role consists of:
- Execute all requirements required to ensure compliance of customs activities in the United States while respecting internal processes and regulations in force. (CTPAT, ACE, anti-dumping, FDA, USMCA certificate of origin, tariff classification, review and correction of US customs entries, tax on products made in China, audits, etc.);
- Act as a resource person for US customs compliance and provide support to the teams;
- Take charge of projects and analyze new products according to regulations;
- Update and optimize compliance procedures related to US customs;
- Train the team on US customs issues;
- Provide support for Canadian customs compliance operations;
- If necessary, perform any other related task that may fall under this job
