This position is designated bilingual (English and French), and the successful candidate must be able to communicate in both of Canada’s official languages.
What you’ll do:
Plan and implement FCC’s diversity, equity, inclusion and accessibility initiatives
Collaborate with internal and external partners to advance ideas and opportunities
Evaluate programs, activities and initiatives with a focus on continuous improvement
Use data and employee feedback to provide insights that enhance FCC’s ability to monitor progress against goals
Develop and execute evidence-based project plans on time and on budget
What we’re looking for:
Organized multi-tasker with strong project planning/management skills
Analytical thinker able to make sense of data and find solutions
Effective communicator who can build partnerships at FCC and with outside organizations
What you’ll need:
A bachelor’s degree in human resources, social sciences or public administration and at least three years of related DEI, accessibility or employment equity experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
A solid understanding of DEI and accessibility principles and best practices
In-depth knowledge of the Employment Equity Act, Accessible Canada Act and other related regulations
