What you’ll do:

• Ensure compliance with governance and investment policies
• Review statements and reports from fund managers, partners and companies
• Process transactions related to capital calls, distributions and new investments
• Prepare and enhance reporting for oversight committees
• Conduct due diligence, monitor fund performance and prepare new investment business proposals
• Develop and maintain related policies, supplemental reporting and governance information
• Build relationships with external partners

What you’ll need:

• A bachelor’s degree in business, finance or economics and at least three years of related experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
• In-depth understanding of investment or financial management
• Enrolment in or completion of a professional designation is an asset
• Knowledge of the venture capital industry and the Canadian agriculture investment ecosystem
