Hello, I'm Marine, Recruitment and Business Development Consultant at Fed Finance, a recruitment firm specializing in accounting, finance and payroll. I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent in the Greater Montreal area.
I'm looking for an accounting technician for my client, an accounting firm located in the Ahuntsic district. This is a permanent position.
Duties include:
- Maintain the books of a diversified client portfolio
- Periodically record closing entries and reconcile accounts and records (bank accounts, sales, fixed assets, accrued expenses, etc.).
- Assist in payroll processing for certain customers
- Produce GST/QST and D.A.S. reports.
- Participate in the processing of compilation assignments
- Participate in the preparation of corporate tax returns
- Communicate with government agencies and follow up on various ongoing files
- DEC in accounting
- 2 years' experience in a similar position
- Fluency in French mandatory, English an asset
- Experience in an accounting firm
- Proficiency in Taxprep and Quickboks an asset
