My name is Fiona, and I'm a recruitment and business development consultant at Fed Finance, a recruitment consultancy specializing in the recruitment of finance professionals. I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent on Montreal's South Shore. Our team of finance experts speaks your language and operates in your world. We cover accounting, finance and payroll.

I'm looking for an Accounting Clerk for a large group based in Brossard. This is a 12-month temporary position, with a good chance of becoming permanent, in hybrid mode.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Pay instalments and personal and corporate tax balances for branches.
- Prepares sales tax returns and payments.
- Reserves inventory dates.
- Makes any required changes to franchisee remuneration in the payroll system.
- Prepares documents required by department managers.
- Assists supervisor with various projects.
- Designs spreadsheets and tables using Excel software.
- Programs loss reports in AX and gross profit reports in Micro Strategy for inventory counts.
- Prepares documentation for the management team with the various parties involved in new branch acquisitions and franchisee changes.
- Updates branch list
- Follows up on leases.
- Performs general office work such as processing mail, taking calls and filing files (financial statements, BFL insurance).
- Performs all other related tasks.

REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma of Vocational Studies (D.V.S.) in accounting.
- One (1) to two (2) years' experience in a similar position.
- Good knowledge of Word and Excel (Windows environment).
- Have a good sense of responsibility and initiative.
- Ability to handle several files at once and work under pressure.
- Ability to adapt to tight deadlines.
- Demonstrate good team spirit.
- Knowledge of AS/400 and Microsoft Dynamics AX systems.
