I'm looking for a Temporary Accounting Technician for my client in the heart of downtown Montreal, for a minimum 3-month assignment. This is a temporary contract, in hybrid mode (1 day telecommuting and 4 days in the office).
You will be recognized for:
- Responsible for accounts payable; entering invoices, verifying statements of account
follow-up with suppliers and internal partners
- Responsible for tracking credit card expenses for all Team
Spectra
- Responsible for expense accounts (Concur) for the 2 agencies and festivals
(Jazz, Francos and Mel)
- Payroll accounting for 2 agencies (Agence Evenko and Spectra Musique)
- Validate cash flows based on payments to be made
- Import transactions from different systems
- Prepare and record various month-end and event-related accounting entries

- Responsible for entering budgets into the accounting system on a monthly basis and
their validation
- Support in the preparation of documents required for the issuance of T4A, T4ANR and
tax receipts
- Help prepare year-end files for auditors
- Responsible for building and preparing on a regular basis various reports that will be
required for supplier analysis
- Filing and archiving of various documents
- Support the Finance team
We want to meet you if you have the following qualifications:
- College diploma
- Minimum 2 years relevant experience
- Knowledge of Great Plains an asset
- Knowledge of MS Office suite
- Desired qualities: initiative, autonomy, organization, thoroughness, meticulousness,
teamwork
