MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide support to branches and division management in all financial and operational matters.
- Participate in the month-end closing process.
- Preparation of budgets and financial forecasts
- Develop and maintain dashboards.
- Monitor key performance indicators.
- Analyze and forecast sales by market, logistics and products.
- Prepare presentations and analyze results for business reviews.
- Analyze financial statements, explain variances and make recommendations for improvements.
- Prepare various month-end reports, adding pertinent comments to guide management decision-making.
- Review and analyze monthly transactions. Identify anomalies and problems in order to provide advice to management.
- Various month-end reports and reconciliations
- Ad hoc requests
Your profile
- 5 years or more of relevant experience in a large company
- University degree in accounting - with CPA designation
- Bilingualism (both French and English, oral and written) in order to communicate with financial management.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office suite, advanced Excel required
- Knowledge of ERP and TM1 systems, Business Intelligence (BI) - an asset
- Strong computer, analytical, process improvement and problem-solving skills.
- Service-oriented, strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to work as part of a team in a dynamic environment with a sense of urgency.
- Ability to innovate.
- Strong business acumen (ability to write business reports for management)
- Able to adapt to change and see opportunities to make changes.
