I am looking for a Real Estate Accountant for a company in the Old Port of Montreal. This is a permanent position.
Your responsibilities:
- Management of 10 entities.
- Production of financial statements.
- Perform accounting entries.
- Analysis of annual budgets.
- Analysis of operating budgets.
- Analyze balance sheets.
- Complete accounting cycle.
- Perform month-end entries.
- Supervision of accounting technicians/accounting clerks.
- Complete 13th invoice for real estate portfolio.
- Other related tasks.
What we are looking for in an ideal candidate:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting.
- Not particularly experienced in real estate.
- Knowledge of YARDI software.
- Knowledge of Excel (v search + TCD).
- Experience in project accounting.
- 3-5 years experience in accounting.
- CPA designation a strong asset.
- Self-starter with good organizational skills to handle large volumes of documents.
- Not afraid of daily challenges.
