I'm looking for a Property Accountant for my client in Westmount. This is a permanent position with the possibility of 1 day of remote work.
Your Responsabilities:
* Record journal entries for month-end/quarter-end/year-end
* Monitor all general ledger accounts
* Assist in the financial reporting process
* Prepare reports for stakeholders
* Collaborate in year-end audits
* Prepare annual budgets and cash flows
* Bank reconciliations
* Manage property expenses
* Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable
* Manage all the billing
* Assist with mortgage renewals and annual reviews
* Be responsible for day-to-day bookkeeping
and preparation of other quarterly filings
Your Profile:
* Bilingual (French and English)
* 3 years of experience in full-cycle accounting
* Experience in residential or commercial real estate industry (asset)
* Experience with Yardi, Skyline or Quickbooks (asset)
* Highly proficient with Excel, Word and PowerPoint
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent problem-solving capabilities
* Attention to detail and excellent follow-up skills
