I'm looking for an IT Infrastructure and Security Manager for one of our customers located in. This is a permanent position, in hybrid mode. Salary varies according to experience ($100,000 to $120,000) - based on 37.5 hours per week.
Your duties will include :
* Oversee and direct the day-to-day operations of the IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, networks and security systems
* Manage, coach and develop a two-person team, ensuring their performance and professional development
* Develop and implement IT security strategies to protect the company's systems, networks and data against potential threats
* Ensure the ongoing maintenance and optimization of IT systems, minimizing downtime and guaranteeing maximum availability
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure that infrastructure and security needs are aligned with corporate objectives
* Oversee the management of security incidents and vulnerabilities, leading the response and ensuring that corrective measures are put in place
* Participate in the development and updating of security policies and procedures, ensuring their compliance with current standards and regulations
* Manage relations with suppliers and service providers, ensuring the quality of services provided
* Degree in computer science, computer engineering or related field.
* Minimum 7 years experience in a similar role.
* Significant experience in IT infrastructure management, with strong expertise in IT security.
* Experience in team management, with the ability to motivate and lead a small group of technicians.
* In-depth knowledge of network technologies, server management systems, storage and security systems (firewalls, intrusion detection systems, etc.).
* Demonstrated competence in IT project management, with the ability to meet deadlines and budgets.
* Solid understanding of IT security principles, best practices and current regulations.
* Certifications in IT security (CISSP, CISM, etc.) and infrastructure management (e.g. ITIL) will be considered an asset.
