Today, I am recruiting for one of my great clients located in downtown Montreal, an IT manager whose primary task will be the network administration and security of the company. The position is permanent and with great benefits.

Today, I am recruiting for one of my great clients located in downtown Montreal, an IT manager whose primary task will be the network administration and security of the company. The position is permanent and with great benefits.

* Administer the company's Microsoft servers;
* Administer communication equipment such as: firewalls, switches, routers, point
wireless access, etc. ...
* Ensure the security of the company network and propose improvements with the aim of
improve security;
* Ensure the performance, availability and security of environments according to policies
in force and maintain monitoring tools.
* Ensure backup copies are taken and ensure backup of environments if necessary,
as well as carrying out recovery tests of the various servers;
* Ensure user access management on the network and with Office 365;
* Monitor, detect, review and resolve security alerts by analyzing various
logs, reports and tools put in place and periodically produce reports and
statistics necessary for management;
* Document and maintain network management documentation and processes
company IT.
* Ensure management of system updates outside of office hours

* DEC in information technology or equivalence;
* 5+ years of experience in server and network equipment administration
* Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 2012 to 2022 environments,
including management of components: Active Directory, GPO, file servers, etc.
* Good knowledge of network principles: DHCP, DNS, VLAN, VPN, TCP/IP routing and
SD-WAN;
* Good knowledge of cloud services with Microsoft Office 365 and Azure;
* Ability to work independently and in a team;
* Excellent communication, both oral and written, in French (functional English);
* Analytical capacity, attention to detail, versatility, sense of organization and respect for
timelines.
* Valid driver's license and vehicle.
* Microsoft certification, CISSP, GIAC, etc. (asset)
* Knowledge of standards: ISO27001/2, NIST CSF, PCI-DSS, ITIL, COBIT. (asset)
