Je suis à la recherche, pour un de nos clients, situé au centre-ville de Montréal, d'un administrateur systèmes senior. Il s'agit d'un contrat de 6 mois minimum, en mode hybride, avec possibilité de permanence. Le salaire horaire est à discuter et varie en fonction de l'expérience - sur une base de 40h semaine.
I'm looking for a Senior Systems Administrator for one of our clients in downtown Montreal. The contract is for a minimum of 6 months, in hybrid mode, with the possibility of permanent employment. Hourly pay is to be discussed and varies according to experience - on a 40h week basis.
Your tasks will include :
* Administer and manage the VMware vSphere and vSan infrastructure, ensuring the performance and reliability of the virtual environment.
* Manage Microsoft Active Directory, DNS and CA services, ensuring their proper functioning and security
* Administer Microsoft 365, including Exchange, Teams, Entra, SharePoint, etc., to ensure seamless integration and maximum productivity
* Collaborate with the network team to optimize and secure the infrastructure, providing support on Cisco Meraki and Cisco Firepower technologies
* Implement and manage backup solutions such as Veeam, Cohesity, or Commvault, to ensure data protection
* Participate in the administration of cloud environments, including Azure and Amazon Web Services, to support the company's digital transformation strategy
* Degree in computer science or related field
* At least 5 years' experience as a systems administrator
* Relevant certifications in VMware, Microsoft, networking, or cloud computing
* Minimum 5 years' experience with VMware vSphere, Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, Microsoft 365
* Knowledge of networking, with experience of Cisco Meraki and Cisco Firepower highly desirable
* Experience with backup solutions such as Veeam, Cohesity, or Commvault (an asset)
* Experience with the administration of cloud platforms such as Azure and Amazon Web Services (an asset).
* Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and take initiative
* Good communication and teamwork skills, with a constant focus on service quality
