I'm looking for a Senior Systems Administrator for one of our customers, located in Montreal-West. This is a permanent position, in hybrid mode. Salary varies according to experience ($90000 to $100000) - on a 40-hour week basis.
Your duties will include :
* Administer and maintain Windows servers (Windows Server 2012/2016/2019) and VMware infrastructure (vSphere, ESXi)
* Supervise and ensure continuity of infrastructure services (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, DFS, etc.)
* Manage and optimize virtualized environments (VM creation, configuration, migration)
* Manage backups and disaster recovery plans to ensure service continuity
* Diagnose and resolve complex incidents related to Windows and VMware systems
* Perform preventive maintenance on systems to avoid service interruptions
* Participate in the design and implementation of infrastructure projects (deployment of new services, migrations, etc.).
* Keep abreast of developments in Windows and VMware technologies
* Degree in computer science, networking or equivalent
* At least 5 to 7 years' experience in systems administration, including at least 3 years as a senior network administrator
* Expertise in Windows Server administration (AD, GPO, DNS, DHCP, etc.)
* Proficiency in VMware virtualization technologies (vSphere, vCenter, ESXi)
* Solid knowledge of PowerShell for task automation
* Experience with backup and restore solutions (Veeam, etc.)
* Microsoft (MCSA, MCSE) and/or VMware (VCP) certification an asset
* Fluency in French and English
