Today, I am recruiting a systems and network maintenance director for one of my great clients located in Brossard. The position is temporary for 6 months, mainly on-site and with great possibilities for extension or becoming permanent.
* Maintenance management
- Manage preventive and corrective maintenance operations for railway systems and networks.
- Plan interventions to limit interruptions to rail service.
- Ensure the evolution and upgrading of equipment according to technological advances and regulatory requirements.
*Team management
- Supervise, train and energize a team of technicians and administrators specialized in systems and networks for signaling and communication.
- Coordinate team activities and ensure effective communication with other internal departments and engineering teams.
- Ensure a secure and optimal working environment for all staff.
- Analysis and continuous improvement
- Detect and analyze recurring breakdowns in order to implement lasting solutions.
- Optimize maintenance methods and processes to improve
performance and reduce costs.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and propose appropriate corrective measures.
* Compliance and security
- Ensure compliance with railway safety standards and regulations in force.
- Carry out regular audits to assess the conformity of equipment and procedures.
- Implement the required protocols in the event of an incident or emergency situation.
- Technical expertise in rail systems, communications networks or electrical/mechanical infrastructure.
- Proven management and leadership skills, with an ability to supervise and mobilize a team.
- Ability to analyze technical data and make informed strategic decisions.
- Mastery of maintenance management tools (CMMS) and planning software.
- Good knowledge of safety standards and railway regulations (an asset).
- Experience in using reporting tools and performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor operations.
- Excellent command of French and English, both written and spoken.
