The location in Montréal, (Quebec, Canada), is seeking talent to fill the position of Senior Manager, IT Transformation & Integration - Infrastructure and Security. This job is full-time permanent.
Overview: This role will work with IT, business, and the functions to advise, collaborate and execute on the IT Infrastructure and Security strategy and roadmap with a special focus on integrating the three legacy organizations infrastructure. The Senior Manager, IT Transformation - Infrastructure and Security will
- Be a key advisor to the IT Transformation - Infrastructure and Security Program Managers with regards to the Integration Roadmap
- Be a key advisor to the project managers from the Infrastructure and Security team in the execution of their different mandates
- Perform assessments, evaluations and financial estimates relating to acquisitions and divestitures
- Create roadmaps for technology adoption, ensuring alignment with business objectives and future scalability.
Your challenges:
- Strategic Vision: Advise on IT strategy execution aligned with business goals, focusing on integrating IT systems from legacy organizations. Develop and support infrastructure roadmaps and modernization efforts in collaboration with leadership.
- Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams, foster collaboration, and build strong relationships across departments through influence and persuasion.
- IT Infrastructure & Security Integration: Develop architectural strategies to unify legacy infrastructure and align multiple IT roadmaps across departments.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with executives and department heads to effectively communicate IT strategies and ensure informed decision-making.
- Communication: Transparently convey IT initiatives, ensuring clarity and alignment across management levels.
- Financial Management: Optimize IT investments and resource allocation while maintaining budget constraints.
- Change Management & Cultural Transformation: Lead organizational change, promoting agility, innovation, and minimizing business disruptions.
Your skills:
- Strategic Vision: Ability to develop and communicate IT transformation strategies aligned with business goals, identify technology trends, and create infrastructure roadmaps. Strong analytical skills for problem-solving and decision-making.
- Leadership: Skilled in leading IT infrastructure projects, integrations, and high-performing teams. Effective in advising on IT transitions during mergers and acquisitions. Strong organizational, interpersonal, and judgment skills.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities to collaborate with leadership, business units, IT teams, and external partners.
- Change Management & Cultural Transformation: Proficiency in driving innovation, adaptability, and continuous improvement within IT and the broader organization.
- Financial Management: Ability to justify IT investments, manage budgets and resources, and provide financial estimates for special projects, including mergers and acquisitions.
- Technology Evaluation & Roadmap: Expertise in assessing emerging technologies, developing strategic implementation plans, and ensuring IT infrastructure aligns with business objectives.
- Strategic Alignment & Business Acumen: Deep understanding of business operations, market trends, and IT’s role in driving revenue growth and efficiency. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Your profile:
- Bilingual French and English (Required for all Corporate Positions)*
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Business Administration, or related field (a master's degree in a relevant field is preferred)
- PMP certification and/or training. Strong and long-term experience in a project setting will be considered in lieu of PMP certification
- 15+ years of experience in IT Management including end-to-end experience for medium-to-large initiatives.
- Proven experience in analyzing, implementing, and evaluating IT systems and their specifications.
- Broad understanding of IT infrastructure, enterprise application, cyber-security and overall IT landscape
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Deep understanding of and ability to manage multiple, large IT initiative simultaneously using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
