Your position
I am currently recruiting for one of my clients, a manufacturing company located on the South Shore of Montreal, a Maintenance Manager - Permanent position 40h week - Shift Monday to Thursday (7h15 to 16h30 with 45 minutes break) and Friday (6h to 12h).
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Supervise a team of 3 employees (1 electromechanic, 1 mechanic, 1 toolmaker and 1 machinist)
- Diagnose and solve technical problems while present on the floor
- Participate in continuous improvement and potential automation projects
- Manage building maintenance (HVAC, electricity via subcontractors)
- Implement and optimize lockout procedures
- Implement and manage Interal maintenance software
Your professional skills
- Direct team management experience (minimum 2 years)
- DEP or DEC training in mechanical systems or related field
- Knowledge of industrial environments and preventive maintenance
- Excellent analytical, priority management and communication skills
- Assertive leadership, rigor, autonomy, curiosity and initiative

Salary: $80k - $85k + annual bonus depending on performance.
