We are looking for a Purchasing and Logistics Coordinator to join our client in Granby in the manufacturing sector. Under the supervision of the Procurement Department, your responsibilities will include :

- Order Management: Issue purchase orders and track their progress through to receipt of goods.
- Supplier Relations: Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure the best terms of cooperation.
- Transport planning: Organize and coordinate the transport of goods in response to after-sales service requests.
- Stock Monitoring: Monitor stock levels to ensure availability and avoid shortages.
- Dispute Management: Resolve disputes with carriers and suppliers and implement corrective actions.
- Data Analysis: Review purchasing and logistics data to identify opportunities for improvement, such as cost reduction and process optimization.
- Non-Conformance Returns: Manage non-conformance returns with suppliers in collaboration with the Quality department.
- General Support : Perform any other related tasks to effectively support the Procurement Department.

Qualifications:

- Degree relevant to this position
- Previous experience in a similar role is an asset.
- Supplier relationship management and negotiation skills.
- Ability to resolve disputes and implement corrective solutions.
- Knowledge of logistics and inventory management processes.
- Analytical skills for data review and process improvement.
- Team spirit and ability to work independently.
- Knowledge of transportation and customs (an asset).
