I'm assisting one of our customers, a well-known Quebec transportation company, in its search for a dispatcher.
The position is full-time, for 40 hours, nights and weekends.
Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, your responsibilities are:
-Enter all freelances and orders into the computer system;
-Manage dispatch emails and calls;
-Assist dispatchers in entering assigned trips into the dispatch software
Assists dispatchers in entering assigned trips or changes to previously assigned trips;
-Respond to customer inquiries, send reports to customers as required;
-Receive travel documents from drivers, perform summary review if all required documents and information are present;
-Review and correct drivers' computerized reports, ensuring that everything is correct and clear for the return audit;
-In the event of an incident, a supervisor is available at all times to take charge of the situation.
Profile required:
-Knowledge of Bill 430
-Relevant experience in transportation or dispatching
-Proficiency with TMS software
-Proficiency in MS Office suite, particularly Excel (advanced knowledge required)
-Structured, efficient and numerate
-Bilingual (English, French)
