I am looking for a logistics agent for one of my clients operating in the manufacturing field. Based on the South Shore.
The Logistics and Customer Service Agent will be responsible for managing logistics and coordinating customer services for all manufacturing company operations.
This key position involves interaction with customers, carriers and various internal departments to ensure smooth management of orders, deliveries and returns.
The aim is to maintain an excellent level of service while optimizing logistics processes to meet production and customer satisfaction needs.
Responsibilities :
Customer order management: Process orders, ensure their proper execution and monitor their status from acceptance to delivery.
Logistics follow-up: Coordinate shipments and deliveries with carriers and warehouses. Monitor delivery times and resolve transport problems.
Customer service: Respond to customer queries about products, orders and deliveries. Provide quality customer service by resolving problems and answering questions promptly.
Returns and claims management: Manage product returns, replacements or refunds by ensuring clear communication with customers.
Inventory tracking: Collaborate with the inventory management team to ensure product availability and updated inventory levels.
Process optimization: Identify opportunities to improve logistics processes and customer service to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Inter-departmental communication: Work closely with purchasing, production and finance departments to ensure smooth operations;
Degree in operations management, logistics, business administration or related field.
At least 2-3 years experience in a similar role, ideally in a manufacturing company.
Skills in order and inventory management, as well as logistics coordination.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Proficiency in office tools (Excel, order management software and ERP).
Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently.
Organizational skills, autonomy and ability to manage several priorities at the same time.
Experience in returns and claims management an asset.
