About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Vendor Marketing Manager with a strong background in customer marketing to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and executing vendor marketing strategies while also driving customer marketing initiatives.

You will also develop and manage strategic partnerships that drive business growth and maximize brand exposure. As a key member of our marketing department, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement integrated marketing campaigns that maximize vendor partnerships and enhance customer engagement. This is an exciting opportunity to build and nurture strong relationships with external partners while driving successful marketing campaigns that deliver results.

Who we are looking for

You will use your exceptional communication skills to build and maintain strong partnerships with key vendors, focusing on those actively participating in our Vendor Marketing Program.

You have 5+ years of Marketing, Go-To-Market or Project Management experience, experience in a complex B2B environment, and a passion connecting vendor programs to organizational strategy. 

You possess a sense of ownership and accountability to deliver projects on time and in spec, ensuring roadblocks are resolved or escalated as necessary. You are a change agent who challenges the status quo and seeks collaborative solutions.

The Responsibilities

Vendor Marketing (60%)

  • Develop and execute comprehensive vendor marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, increase product adoption, and achieve revenue goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key vendor partners, serving as the primary point of contact and fostering collaborative partnerships.
  • Collaborate with vendors to co-create and execute joint marketing campaigns, including digital advertising, content marketing, events, and promotions.
  • Manage vendor-funded marketing programs, ensuring effective utilization of marketing funds and maximizing return on investment.  Accountable for achieving vendor marketing revenue targets.
  • Strong understanding of onsite performance and maximizing opportunities onsite to drive program value.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and vendor performance to identify new opportunities and optimize marketing strategies.
  • Track and report on key performance metrics, providing regular updates to stakeholders on the effectiveness and impact of vendor marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to integrate partnership initiatives into overall marketing plans and ensure consistent brand messaging and positioning.
  • Work with the Vendor Partner, Product Management, and Sales Enablement Manager to review and approve partner marketing plans throughout the year.
  • Lead the planning and execution of the Vendor Marketing Program every year and work collaboratively with Marketing Coordinator and Sales Enablement Manager to ensure program success.
  • Ensure alignment and program buy-in from cross-functional stakeholders, including Product Management, Sales Enablement, Sales Leaders and Senior Leadership team; ensure all team members are moving towards a common vision and are progressing towards critical program milestones.
  • Collect regular feedback from vendors and internal stakeholders and implement program improvements.
  • Manage and build internal program processes for successful execution.
  • Maintain and socialize a Vendor Marketing Activity calendar.  

Customer Marketing (40%)

  • Develop and implement customer marketing strategies to drive customer loyalty, retention, and advocacy.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, and product management, to identify customer insights and create targeted marketing campaigns.
  • Utilize data analytics and customer segmentation to develop targeted marketing campaigns that deliver personalized experiences and maximize customer lifetime value.
  • Monitor and analyze customer marketing metrics, such as customer satisfaction, retention rates, to measure campaign effectiveness and optimize strategies.

 

Key Skills:

  • 3-5 years in B2B marketing, vendor program management, sales, partnership/vendor management, business supplies.
  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business or Marketing, or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in working successfully in complex organizations, balancing multiple assignments and deliverables simultaneously.
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Responsible budget management and financial acumen.
  • Project and event management skills.
  • Analytical and able to interpret data into a compelling story.
  • Project Management experience.
  • Knowledge/experience with B2B sales and vendor relationships.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Sales, business development skills is an asset.
  • Proficient with:  Wrike, Adobe Analytics, MS Office, CRM (MS Dynamics), Marketing Automation.
