You will review, maintain and optimize supplier agreements to ensure compliance and maximize opportunities for improvement, and you will manage and update ISO 9001 and 14001 quality systems, ensuring compliance and strategic relevance.

Specifically, the Purchasing and Logistics Analyst's main responsibilities are to:

Quality system and contract management

  • Keep ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 quality system documentation up to date
  • Coordinate the annual activities required to maintain ISO certification compliance
  • Follow up non-conformities and integrate results into supplier evaluation
  • Manage framework contracts with suppliers and propose recommendations for improvement

Continuous improvement

  • Develop and monitor procurement process performance
  • Conduct supply chain analyses (costs, economies of scale, etc.).
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement projects to optimize operations and reduce costs

Purchasing and logistics

  • Supporting buyer-logisticians in operational tasks: issuing purchase orders, processing price requests, resolving custom disputes, managing problem invoices, etc.
  • Replace buyer-logisticians during their absences to ensure continuity of operations

Administrative management

  • Produce and update performance indicator reports according to established deadlines
  • Keep the savings register up to date and present it to management on a monthly basis
  • Organize and archive documents on SharePoint, ensuring that they are accessible and up to date
  • Draft various documents for the department (letters to suppliers, process maps, etc.).

Requested skills

Skills required

  • DEC in logistics, procurement or other relevant field (or equivalent experience)
  • At least two (2) years' relevant experience in a similar role
  • Intermediate/advanced levels of written and spoken English (most suppliers are English-speaking).
  • Training in quality management systems (ISO 9001 and 14001) is an asset
  • Training in custom processes and regulations is an asset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SharePoint, especially Excel (data extraction and manipulation, pivot tables, etc.).
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills
