Job Description: The Assessor Coordinator is responsible for promoting the Mission, Vision and Values of Regina Qu’Appelle Health Region through provision of safe quality care to clients. He/she is responsible for the provision of assessment, intervention, brief counseling, advice, information and referral about Saskatchewan Mental Health and Addictions Services to callers/clients from all age groups.

Experience
- 2 years working experience in community mental health and addictions services
Education
- Bachelor of Social Work (BSW)
Other Education and Training
- Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing is acceptable
- Training/experience in Addictions Counseling/Suicide Intervention is preferred

- Clinical knowledge in mental illness, addictions, interventions and treatments.
- Ability to enter and retrieve data in computer database systems
- Demonstrate knowledge of the Mental Health Services Act/related legislation
- Strong assessment skills required to determine callers’ needs
- Ability to competently use computers and software applications
- Ability to work with various electronic, IT and manual resources
- Ability to respond to clients' varying concerns and complex requests
- Ability to multitask
