Job Description: As a member of the mental health residential services team, this position is responsible for the coordination of the mental health approved home program in collaboration with multidisciplinary team members and the Ministry of Health. The purpose of this position is to provide assessment of persons interested in accessing mental health approved homes, and the recruitment, education and support of mental health approved home operators. Under the supervision of the program manager for residential services, this position is responsible for assigning individual supports to persons living in Mental Health approved homes; licensing and monitoring Mental Health approved homes; providing consultation, referral and conducting research related to the Mental Health approved home program.

Education

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)

Licenses

  • Valid Class 5 driver's license

Other Education and Training

  • Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing is acceptable
  • Bachelor of Social Work is acceptable
