Job Description: The Director, Communications Platforms is a key leader in Saskatchewan healthcare, partnering with system leaders to achieve our province’s health-care goals. Reporting to the Executive Director Communications Services & Platforms, the Director is responsible for contributing to the development and achievement of strategy by articulating gaps and needs. The Director supports strategy through the development and execution of operational and business plans, including cascading, monitoring, reporting, and course correction of same. The Director demonstrates strong leadership to enable an innovative and positive working climate and a client-centric culture. The Director oversees the user experience with SHA’s mass communications platforms (website, social media, email distribution channels, apps, etc.). The Director leads communications training and oversees SHA’s self-serve communications tools and oversees communications infrastructure, such as messaging databases.

Experience

  • Leader who has developed planning and programs in multi-stakeholder environment
  • Experience in strategic planning
  • Seven (7) years leadership experience

Licenses

  • Valid Class 5 driver's license

Other Education and Training

  • Undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Licensed, and in good standing, with regulatory body, if applicable
