Job Description:
The CMRIPS is seeking a professional, self-motivated candidate with solid decision-making skills for the Manager, Professional Practice role. Reporting to the Executive Director/Registrar, this position is responsible for implementation of strategies and policies related to registrant professional practice and conduct or competence to ensure CMRIPS performs effectively to protect the public.
The successful candidate will ensure CMRIPS continues to meet its mandate for public protection by:
- Manage relationships with the membership and other stakeholders relating to professional practice and complaints;
- Research and develop policies related to the professional practice of MRIPs.
- Ensure a prompt response to inquiries pertaining to scope and standards of practice.
- Oversee the management of the Professional Conduct Committee, manage intake and assignments of complaints and provide administrative support; and
- Contribute to, develop, revise, implement all policies related to complaints & investigation.
This is a part-time (30hrs/week) permanent position. This position requires daytime availability as well as occasional evenings and weekends based on Council and Committee needs. Flexibility is provided in the scheduling of the hours across the week. The work location is hybrid with 50% at home and 50% at the Regina, SK office.

Education
- Post-secondary or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
Knowledge and Abilities
- Demonstrated experience in a formal/informal leadership role.
- Strong oral and written communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, privacy and exercise discretion when providing information or advice on confidential or sensitive issues.
- Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Familiar with legislation, regulations and standards and board governance.
- Must be a Canadian resident and must reside in Saskatchewan.
