Job Description: Clinical Coordinator of the Neuromodulation Program is responsible for oversight of the clinic team and direct clinical care of Neuromodulation clients associated with waitlist, referral, assessment, follow up, and discharge planning coordination and device management in outpatient, perioperative, and inpatient settings. Oversees and participates in administrative functions and is a leader and resource in this sub-specialty area to all team members and regional healthcare providers, acting as liaison of multiple clinical services within the interdisciplinary team, other internal and external departments and services to develop and coordinate effective client centered care.

Experience

  • Five (5) years acute care nursing experience
  • Supervisory experience is an asset
  • Three (3) years nursing experience in the specific clinical area
  • Requires experience in program/resource development related to needs assessment.

Education

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)

Other Education and Training

  • Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
  • Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing is acceptable
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certificate (CPR)
  • Psychiatric Nursing diploma is acceptable
  • Nursing diploma is acceptable

Competencies
