Job Description: Under the direction of the Senior Psychologist (department lead) of the Alvin Buckwold Child Development Program, the incumbent will provide psychological services to children from birth to 18 years of age and their families. They will work with multi/inter/trans disciplinary teams to provide assessment, treatment, and consultation services to children who have or are at risk for developmental delays and disabilities. The primary role of the psychologist is assessments for the purpose of diagnoses. The Psychologist will also be expected to provide treatment services to children who present with mental health symptoms secondary to their developmental disabilities and consultation to families and other professionals regarding developmental disabilities and mental health in the context of developmental disabilities. Additional duties related to the administration of the department (e.g. consultation on policy development); education of graduate level students, parents, and other professionals; and consultation to research projects regarding quality improvement and program evaluation will also be assigned.

- Masters in School and Counselling Psychology
Licenses
- Registered Master Psychologist with Authorized Practice Endorsement (APE)
