Job Description: Reporting to the Manager of the Functional Rehabilitation Program (FRP), the Rehabilitation Coordinator provides both part-time clinical and part-time administrative leadership and clinical supervision to the SGI Tertiary Services. The Rehabilitation Coordinator will work collaboratively with SGI and any other third-party funding agencies in order to ensure that the services that we provide are of the highest quality and meet our contractual requirements.

Experience
- Experience w/ leadership within a multi or transdisciplinary rehabilitation team
- Expertise as a clinical resource in tertiary assessment & treatment
- Knowledge of musculoskeletal injuries , chronic pain & vocational rehabilitation
- Experience in clinical research, program development and evaluation
- Supervisory experience is an asset
- Interest/experience in quality improvement activities
- Interest/experience in clinical research and outcome measures
Education
- A minimum of a Baccalaureate degree in Occupational Therapy or Physical Therapy.
Memberships
- Saskatchewan College of Physical Therapists (SCPT)
- Saskatchewan Society of Occupational Therapists (SSOT)
Other Education and Training
- WorkWell Functional Capacity Evaluation (FCE) accreditation
- Current CPR certification
- Advanced level orthopedic assessment and treatment as applicable.
- Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
- 2 years of recent experience providing tertiary care

- Knowledge of causes & effects of musculoskeletal injuries & chronic pain mgmt.
- Ability to develop & maintain consulting relationships in interagency programs
- Work collaboratively w/ a multidisciplinary team & other agencies in the commnty
- Ability to manage a complex caseload with multiple demands
- Ability to design and conduct in-service training for other professionals
- Committed to the promotion & achievement of successful vocational rehab.
- Knowledge of HIPA
- The Automobile Accident Insurance Act, The traffic Safety Act, WCB
- Has knowledge of applicable legislation and regulations
- Ability to be self directed and work relatively independently
- Highly developed written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrates leadership abilities
- Skill in mentoring, training, clinically supervising students and related disc.
- Advance computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Access).
- Knowledge of Indigenous/multicultural populations
- Improved quality of life
- SCM, and PACS
- Must be flexible and able to work in non-traditional roles and workplaces
Other Information
- Travel may be required to provide service to sites within the area
- Registered/eligible with the Saskatchewan College of Physical Therapists (SCPT)
