Job Description: The WPES Specialist provides advanced knowledge as a strategic partner and subject matter expert within the Human Resources Department in the design, delivery, and implementation of human resource services and strategies to improve operations, achieve goals, and resolve issues. The Specialist provides solutions for workforce planning and employment strategies issues including collective agreement interpretation, union negotiation, recruitment and retention strategies, organizational change, layoff, hiring, human rights, provincial labour law related to employment applications, in-scope and out-of-scope job evaluation and classification, salary administration, market supplements, immigration, diversity and inclusion, representative workforce, organizational design, workforce optimization and health human resource planning.

Experience
- 3-5 years' experience in Human Resources
Other Education and Training
- Business Administration diploma is acceptable
- Human Resources certificate is acceptable
- Licensed, and in good standing, with regulatory body, if applicable
- Undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Bachelor of Commerce is acceptable
