Job Description:

The Foundation Relations Senior Specialist is a key leader in the CEC portfolio partnering with other operational leaders to achieve and maintain
strong and healthy working relationships with our Health Foundation partners across the province. The Senior Specialist is accountable for developing
agreements with 70+ health foundations and fundraising bodies across Saskatchewan and demonstrates strong leadership to enable an innovative
and positive working climate and a client-centric culture. The Senior Specialist is responsible for building, promoting and supporting a culture of
philanthropy among SHA staff and physicians and will help strengthen the ability for health foundations to raise money. The Senior Specialist will work
closely, and develop partnerships, with system, media and community partners and lead communications projects related to major infrastructure
projects where foundation involvement is key to the success of the project. They will use a client-centred approach to continuously challenge, improve
and transform service delivery while maximizing limited resources and work cross-collaboratively with CEC teams and SHA leaders. The incumbent
must have a strong awareness and understanding of stakeholder needs and the impact of their subsequent actions, utilizing well-developed
leadership, customer relations and problem solving abilities.

Experience

  • Five (5) years leadership experience
  • Communications experience within a large public sector organization

Education

  • Bachelor of Commerce (BComm)
  • Undergraduate degree or diploma in a health related field
  • Business Administration diploma (DBA)
  • Bachelor of Arts in Health Care Administration
  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
  • Health Care Administration diploma
  • Marketing diploma

Licenses

  • Valid Class 5 driver's license

Other Education and Training

  • Undergraduate degree or diploma in journalism, Communication or Public Relations
  • Licensed, and in good standing, with regulatory body, if applicable
  • Undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
