As a Staff Clinician, Life Smart Services, you will be an integral part of a collaborative team focused on delivering seamless services and programs to our clients and customers. What you’ll be doing:
- Conduct telephone interventions with clients
- Provide support and coaching services in at least two of the following areas: parenting support, couple relationships, eldercare support, retirement preparation, grief and loss, stress and burnout, and career guidance
What we’re looking for:
- Master's degree in psychology, education, counseling, social work or equivalent
- Three to five years of experience in adult and/or mental health intervention
- Valid registration with the relevant governing body
- Expertise in solution-focused brief counseling is an asset
- Knowledge of risk assessment, crisis management and EFAP is an asset
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written English and French communication skills
- Comfortable with Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Interest in writing resource letters for clients
English language skills are required as this role supports, communicates and/or collaborates with both French and English-clients and/or colleagues nationally.
