Impact Recruitment has the pleasure of working with a Vancouver boutique law firm considered to be a leader in complex commercial litigation and public law. Founded by the former partners of a top-tier national law firm, this team is looking for an experienced associate to join their busy team and take on an increasing number of complex and engaging files.

Responsibilities:
The incoming senior associate will be hitting the ground running, taking on and handling a sizeable file load in addition to supporting the senior partners of the firm. This work will consist of complex commercial disputes, including but not limited to shareholder and partnership disputes, franchise disputes, construction disputes, product liability matters, securities litigation, and class action matters. This work will be done in the support of companies both private and public. You will also be expected to work on various administrative / public law matters, both acting for and against government and regulatory bodies.

Qualifications:

  • Called to the BC Bar and be in good standing
  • Minimum 5-years of experience post call
  • Be comfortable with a soft billable target of 1700
  • Substantial experience with commercial litigation / administrative law
