Maintenance Technician

Join a top employer and advance your career. Impact Recruitment has partnered with Vancouver, BC-based company to hire a residential maintenance technician. You will be the support the team needs to maintain our portfolio of rental buildings. The position would be responsible for common area renovations projects, light suite repairs such as minor plumbing, minor electrical, painting, drywalling, and any ad hoc work that might be needed around the building.

Benefits & Perks:

  • $50,000-$60,000 per annum

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting preventative maintenance inspections across a rental/commercial property.
  • Carrying out general maintenance including but not limited to minor electrical, plumbing and drywall repairs.
  • Responding to work orders for emergency call outs.
  • Liaising with contractors for larger projects, or identifying.
  • Maintain a visible, professional (friendly/courteous) presence at the property to promote positive tenant relationships; respond to tenant inquiries and requests in a timely manner.
  • Vacant suite maintenance and touch ups.

Qualifications:

  • 2 years of residential property maintenance experience.
  • Experience in maintaining DDC, HVAC, elevator equipment, lightning control systems, fire safety, and electrical room maintenance.
  • Experience working in home renovations, commercial properties, or facilities management is preferred.
