ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

As a Personal Lines Team Manager, you will play a dual role: leading and developing a high-performing team of insurance brokers and handling your own portfolio of personal lines clients.

ABOUT THE POSITION

  • Supervise, mentor, and motivate a team of personal lines brokers to achieve individual and collective performance goals.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and support professional development opportunities for team members.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment that encourages continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Maintain strong relationships with insurance carriers to stay updated on product offerings and changes in the market.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the personal lines department, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Monitor and manage departmental performance metrics to meet and exceed service standards and business objectives.
  • Implement best practices and processes to enhance client satisfaction and operational efficiency.

THE REQUIREMENTS

  • Valid Level 2 license in Manitoba
  • Proven experience in a managerial role within the insurance industry, with a strong track record of team leadership and client management.
  • In-depth knowledge of personal lines insurance products and market trends.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex information and provide clear, actionable recommendations.

COMPENSATION

  • $80,000 - $90,000 salary plus commission on new business and renewals
  • Health and dental plan
  • RRSP match
  • 4 weeks’ vacation
