Having provided exceptional legal services to their clients for over 5 decades, this client is actively seeking an experienced and highly motivated senior family lawyer to join their team in Vernon.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

This opportunity would be based in their Vernon office. Ideally, the incoming lawyer would be motivated and has experience working with a full range of family matters, including but not limited to complex asset division matters, child and spousal support, divorces, separation agreements, and more. While it would be ideal for the incoming lawyer to have a partial book of business, right now there is plenty of work available for a lawyer to step into right away and work with clients both in Okanagan and Vancouver. For this reason the ideal individual is someone who is capable of independent practice.

Aside from the legal aspects of this position, this firm highly appreciates candidates who are personable and work well within a collaborative, team focused environment.

THE REQUIREMENTS

• Called to the BC Bar and be in good standing
• 10+ years of post call experience, with strong family law experience a strong asset
• Located in and having a connection with the local Vernon community

COMPENSATION

• Flexible compensation structure, dependent on the individual. Flexible billable targets as well!
• Law Society fees covered
• Comprehensive benefits package
• 4 weeks + vacation
