Impact Recruitment has teamed up with one of the fastest growing independently owned Insurance Brokerages based in Vancouver and are looking to add a Systems Administrator to their growing team!

ABOUT OUR CLIENT

Our client is an independent brokerage the specializes in Business Insurance across British Columbia and Western Canada. They are proud to offer the best Insurance rates in the industry by maintaining access to over 20 Standard Market Insurance Companies and over 50 Specialty Insurance Markets, including coverholder agreements with Lloyd’s (London) and Peace Hills General Insurance.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for overseeing the broker management systems and IT deployment, including leading complex integration, implementation, and conversion projects from start to completion. You will work closely with head office in executing system and IT plans to support business goals and growth strategies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Reviewing and providing recommendations on use of current systems in place
  • Initiating, planning, and executing system integration, implementation, and conversation projects (mapping, cleaning, migrating, testing, and validating data)
  • Creating and presenting project plans including budget, scope and timeline
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project outcome
  • Liaising with head office in regular updates on project progress
  • Developing and maintaining system manuals and documentation
  • Training and coaching users of the IT systems and supporting users post-activation
  • Reviewing and implementing service workflows
  • Auditing user security settings
  • Other job-related duties as required

REQUIREMENTS

  • 3+ years of experience in system implementation, integration and conversions
  • Operational understanding of broker management systems (TAM, Applied Epic, PowerBroker, Acturis etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of auto insurance broker management systems (Alstar Atoms and Autolink)
  • Proficiency with MS 365 applications
  • Effective communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Strong project management skills
