ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Working alongside a high-performing team of top Lawyers in the GTA, you’ll be heavily involved in taking files from start to finish on your own. With support from a strong team of colleagues, the focus will be on tax dispute resolution for large organizations and high net worth individuals.
ABOUT THE POSITION
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• • Resolve tax controversies with Canadian tax authorities at the audit and/or litigate them in court.
  • Engage in tax planning and transactions, dispute resolution (both administrative and litigation), tax policy, transfer pricing, indirect taxes and wealth management tax advice and planning.
  • Work to a billable target of 1900 hours.

THE REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years of experience
• Experience with Tax Dispute in a BIGLAW firm
• Licensed to practice in Ontario

COMPENSATION

• $170,000 - $220,000 (depending on experience)
• Extended health and dental coverage

• RRSP matching (up to 5% after 1 year with the firm!)
