Impact Recruitment has the pleasure of working with a mid-sized Vancouver based firm that is looking for a talented and ambitious Wills & Estates associate to join their office in West Vancouver team. This is a great opportunity for an individual to join an established team with work readily available coming directly from the leading Partner.

Our client is a full service firm that has been providing excellent legal services to the Vancouver community and beyond for more than 3 decades on a full range of legal topics. With over 35 lawyers in the Greater Vancouver Area assisting small business owners all the way up to multinational corporations, this law firm has established themselves as a trustworthy partner for almost all legal needs.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

This client is looking for an experienced full-time associate with experience managing Wills & Estates and Trusts matters out of their West Vancouver office. You will be working on an extensive and broad range of matters, including but not limited to general Will issues including intestacy matters, Power of Attorney, Representation Agreements, Trusts and Disability Trusts, Estate and Probate issues.

The highlight of this position is that the incoming lawyer will be working closely with the Senior Partner of the office, not only learning directly from them but also taking on complex and engaging files in addition to files being referred over by the Vancouver office. Over time you will be taking on more and more of these matters as this Partner plans to wind down. Throughout this process you will be well supported with a full legal support team in a beautiful office right by Ambleside Beach.

THE REQUIREMENTS

• Called to the BC Bar and be in good standing
• 5+ years of post call experience, with a focus on Wills & Estates law
• Comfortable with a 1500 billable target
• Willing to work in the West Vancouver office
