This casual opportunity offers rotating day shifts, perfect for those seeking flexibility and variety in their work schedule.

About the Role:
As an Adult Day Service Worker, you will work within a client-centered model, responsible for meeting the needs of an assigned group of clients by assisting them in carrying out established programs and activities of daily living tasks. Your duties will include:
• Conducting individual or group leisure/recreation programs such as arts, socio-cultural events, crafts, sports, music, cooking, gardening, and exercises.
• Setting up and organizing furnishings and equipment for programs and special events.
• Accompanying clients to programs, teaching program techniques, overseeing client participation, and reporting problems/changes to the supervisor.
• Assisting clients with activities of daily living (ADL) tasks such as toileting, bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Reporting any concerns or problems related to ADL care (e.g., skin breakdown) to the supervisor.

Qualfications
• Grade 12, completion of Home Support Resident Care Attendant Program, experience in a variety of recreation programs, two years recent related experience; or a combination of education, training, and experience.
• Registration with the BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker Registry.
• Food Safe Certificate.
