Salary range for the position is $74,618 to $107,264. Interior Health establishes salaries within the minimum and maximum of the salary range based on consideration of the qualifications, experience of the applicant, and an internal equity review of the salaries of other employees.

How will you create an impact:
The Analyst, Supply Chain is responsible for ensuring a strong integration of information and issues management between both the Strategic and Operations aspects of Interior Health (IH) and Provincial Health Services Authority (PHSA) Supply Chain activities. The position will support the analysis of products, supplies, supply chain processes, supply chain concerns, supply chain enhancements, etc.

The Analyst, Supply Chain will work with multiple partners and other interested parties from across Interior Health (IH) both internal and external to IH including peer Health Authorities, PHSA, and community partners to facilitate ongoing collaboration and effective application of initiatives promoting best practices in Supply Chain performance measurement and the alignment of standards across the cross-functional Supply Chain business areas.

In alignment with IH’s Occupational Health & Safety Program, employees shall adhere to all Occupational Health and Safety policies and procedures at all times and attend all required training. Employees are responsible to report any identified hazards, unsafe conditions or incidents to your manager or supervisor immediately.

What will you work on:
• Gathers data for analysis, distribution and preparing reports related to supply chain activities for various audience groups.
• Supports the data gathering for sourcing and contract renewal process for key portfolios as required.
• Liaises with a variety of internal and external partners and other interested parties such as Supply Chain Leads, data custodians, and Health Authorities business analysts and managers to collaborate and obtain data relates to supply chain performance.
• Provides input into workflow processes and systems that allow information to be easily searched and retrieved and determines how information should be shared.
• Prepares ad hoc reports and assists in the development of new reports to meet the changing needs of the organization.
• Conducts multi-layer data analysis independently by linking data from multiple information data sources such as inventory consumption. Reconciles data to ensure accuracy.
• Identifies issues with data and takes initiative in working out optimal solutions with appropriate parties to improve accuracy, timeliness, connectivity and other data issues.
• Produces high level reports for Senior Executives, Directors and key partners and other interested parties on subjects related to supply chain performance, quarterly review and business data gaps.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualfications
Education, Training and Experience
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement or Computer Information Services, other relevant designation, or currently working towards completion.
• A minimum of five (5) years of recent experience in health care or information management.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

• Customer service orientation with the ability to be innovative and participate with others to reach organizational objectives.
• Experience working in an organization of similar size and complexity in a role that required awareness of the structure and how to navigate through it to ensure internal clients were provided efficient and effective service.
• Demonstrated ability to perform accurate advanced data manipulation.
• Ability to understand and interpret data management concepts and processes.
• Ability to communicate complex and technical ideas in simple language.
• Ability to participate on a multi-disciplinary team and ensure deadlines and milestones are met.
• Ability to adapt and produce high quality results in a constantly changing and developing environment.
• Ability to multi-task and perform numerous tasks within acceptable time frames,
• Excellent computer skills in order to access and manipulate data from various systems to produce financial and other reports.
• Strong analytical ability to meaningfully interpret and present data.
• Understanding of the supply chain and the full life cycle
• Understanding of the full accounting and budgeting cycle.
• Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
