Position Summary
We have a permanent part-time (0.50 FTE) Clinical Dietitian opening in Penticton, B.C. This position works alternating Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 08:30 to 16:30 working out of Fairview Medical Clinic and White Clinic Associates in Penticton.

About the position:

The Clinical Dietitian is a member of a multidisciplinary health care team and provides nutrition care and support to individuals and groups according to established policies, standards and procedures. Utilizing clinical techniques and knowledge, the Clinical Dietitian provides nutrition services through: nutrition assessment; care planning and charting; intervention, goal setting and monitoring; counseling and education programs; consults and communicates with the multidisciplinary care teams; acts as a resource to other health professionals and communities within Interior Health.

Qualfications
Baccalaureate degree in nutrition and dietetics.
Successful completion of an accredited hospital based dietetic internship program (or equivalent acceptable to the facility).
Full registration as a Registered Dietitian with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC).
One year of clinical nutrition experience in a health care environment preferred.
Valid BC Driver’s License.
