Position Summary
CLXT opportunity now available in beautiful Castlegar, B.C. If you have successfully completed a recognized Combined Lab/X-Ray CLXT program and would enjoy living in this friendly, small town close to the US and Alberta borders; then we would love to hear from you!
The CLXT will perform a variety of routine laboratory, x-ray and ECG procedures in accordance with departmental policies, procedures and standards as defined by respective service and accrediting bodies. The Laboratory/X-Ray Technologist also performs routine and preventative maintenance of equipment and trouble shoots equipment problems as required. Days of work are rotating and shift times are: 07:30 to 15:30, 12:30 to 20:30, 09:00 to 15:00

Qualfications
• Graduation from an approved Medical Laboratory Science Program
• Current certification with the Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science (CSMLS) and eligible for membership with the BC Society of Laboratory Sciences (BCSLS) and/or CSMLS
• One (1) year recent related experience
