Position Summary
Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital (KBRH) is seeking a Relief Part Time MRI Technologist to join its imaging team in Trail, B.C.

What Will You Work On?
Reporting to the Professional Practice Leader (or designate), the MRI Technologist performs magnetic resonance imaging procedures. This position is responsible for assisting the Radiologists during procedure, inputting patient specific data into the Radiology Information System (RIS) PACS and providing direction regarding procedures to student technologists and staff trainees. KBRH is the regional center for the Kootenay Boundary Health Service Area. Medical Imaging staff at KBRH work with a broad demographic of patients in both inpatient and outpatient procedures. Our department is highly anticipating future redesign and working on a new scanner.

Qualfications
Graduate of an accredited medical radiography program plus successful completion of a recognized program Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Two (2) years recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Current certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).
